this was a response to something else a few days ago or whatever
i just copy and pasted it cause i felt liek i got my point across and dont need to retype it

concerning the whole "well a lot of people cant afford those designs cause they are so pricey and they only sell them for that much cause they are popular" stuff:

but you have to remember that the art community is a popularity game
anything is a popularity game
even video games and toys and movies have rip offs because people look at something like star wars and go
"well look at that sci fi movie makin money" so they make a rip off because its popular

art tends to sell better when a lot of people know about it
some of the best classical painters werent even blinked at during their time
but now people go crazy to own an original piece of their work

to be able to 'brag' in a way about having an original design from the original artist is a pretty cool thing

also hon this may sound harsh and i'm sorry
but the world aint fair
cinnabutt works hard on her work and has found a way to make money
so she is using it to make money
its what everyone does
if you can build nice houses
build nice houses and make money
obviously people value her work and her designs and say to themselves its worth the money

that is all there is to it
you cant blame the artist
you cant blame the people who buy the designs
its just how it is

some people get to that little nitch where they become popular and can make money easlily quickly and some dont
personally i dont think it really matters?

there are some people who are willing to pay over 200 bucks for a pair of shoes
i would never do that
but that person obviously thinks its worth it so... ???

not to be rude but the arguement of
"that artist is just popular" just sounds like fruitless complaining

i mean popularity is how our world/culture works

celebrities
movies
video games
cartoons
clothing

name brands

its just how the world makes money

not everyone can reach that popular point and not everyone will not reach it???

im pretty popular on here
but my stuff aint sellin for 200 bucks and honestly i could care less
if i did make that money id be over joyed
but im perfectly fine with makin 5 bucks

im fine with just drawing and doing what i love
